My Poor Husband's Accident :(

So yesterday Wren went mountain biking with his little sis.
They were on a fairly easy trail and as Wren was riding down, his left foot hit a rock so he tried to balance himself out by setting his right foot on the dirt, but was going way too fast and the sprockett (the thing that the chain wraps around on the bike) sliced his leg open......

Crazy gross huh?!

His little sister Eden was a champ.  Despite being petrified, she pushed all the insides back into his leg and held it together with her hands as he tied his shirt around the wound to stop the bleeding.  He then proceeded to ride a mile down the canyon with his leg in the air to prevent the blood from rushing down his leg.  He drove himself to the hospital with his left foot.... Poor guy.
His muscles, a tendon, and an artery were all hanging out.  That's what Eden had to push back in.  They said he was very lucky because amazingly he somehow missed the artery.  It's that red piece to the far right.  We don't know how it missed that!  He could have bled to death if it had hit it...
It was crazy because I could see it pumping the whole time we were waiting in the hospital!  He is a very blessed boy.
He smiled and stayed positive the entire time of course because he is Wren.  It was so sad to watch them spray out the wound with saline.  It looked SO painful!

Six hours and 30 stitches later, we got to go home.
Wren is still getting the hang of his crutches.  He's such a trooper!

Everyone pray that he doesn't have to get surgery for the ripped tendon.  The doctor had very high hopes that he wouldn't so let's hope it stays that way!  We'll find out Wednesday for sure....

Anyone's husbands want to buy two really nice mountain bikes?!  ;)  In fact, I'll PAY YOU to take them!
I'm selling mine too!  :)

Hope your weekend wasn't as eventful as ours!

Night at the Farm with my Cutie :)

Last night Wren met me at Gardner Village to go shopping and get chocolate.  I brought my baby a peanut butter and jelly sandwich cause he was stervin....
Doesn't he look handsome all dressed up?  Everyone at his work asked him if he had an interview and he said, "No, I just went shopping at Ross last night."  :)  LOVE him!

He also told his worker friends that he can't wait how to learn eyelash extensions so he can perform them on his wife.  They all laughed and laughed but the thing is, he's dead serious guys.  Mark my words, he'll be amazing at them too, and will save TONS of moolah!  You want yours done by him?  K, he'll do em.  He also cuts my hair too which means he currently cuts more hair than I do cause he cuts his own as well.  Now that's sad.  I guess he's replaced the cosmetologist in the family.

ANYWAY, we went and got some chocolate haystacks and my all time fave; sea foam.  Oh words can't express the love I have for sea foam.

Wren was excited about his haystack...
Can you tell?

I look way too cool for words here.
After we went to Down to Earth and looked at couches.  Let me tell you what, Wren LOVES these types of stores so much, on opposite day that is ;)

Can you tell he's having the time of his life?  He kept looking at way nice couches saying, "Ya, I'd pay $50 for that."  HA.  I told him he should tell the sales associates that, I'm sure they'd get a real kick.
I LOVE him :)
I got a little tired myself so decided to kick back as well....
I sure do love this guy!  Glad he's mine forever :)

Happy Friday!

Have a FABULOUS weekend!
Boating tomorrow? I think we WILL!

Heaven in my Mouth

Three words for you.

Mountain Mike's Pizza

This pizza right here is possibly the most amazingly scrumptious piece of deliciousness I have ever had the joy of savoring....
What's it called?  I don't know, Wren always orders and I'm too busy looking at the desert pizzas to remember, but it has the best crust in the world.  It's all soft and wonderful in the middle, and then just the right amount of crunchy on the outside.  There is chicken, Alfredo sauce, tons of bacon (my fave), tomatoes, and onions.  It's T.H.E. B.E.S.T. ever.  End of story.  Food's big business to the Withers.

Look at that sexy man.  He was excited to eat.
We had barely gone grocery shopping the night before (it had literally almost been two months... the only thing we had bought in that time period was milk, bread, and fruit) I know WAY embarrassing.
Yet, we STILL went out to eat.  We are an eat-out family.  I can't help it, when you've had my dad for a dad your whole life, it's what you'll do.  Eating out has been instilled in me since birth.  I never had a chance otherwise :)
Speaking of my dad, my parents are on trek right now and I have been DYING to see them in their bonnets.  Pictures WILL be coming soon.....  For anyone who knows my parents, nothing will be funnier.

AND on Wednesdays, when you buy any pizza you get .25 (what the heck, is there not a "cents" sign on the keyboard?  I swear there was) wings, so of course we had to get eight.

Is your mouth watering yet?  Mine is....

If you are looking for a fun new restaurant, Mountain Mike's Pizza surely won't disappoint.

Who's Your Favorite Bachelor???

Okay.

One Word

Bachelorette.

Love This Show.

LOVE Ashley, I think we should be best friends.

Love all the guys!

I think Ashley has the best selection of people out of any season EVER.  And she picked the four guys that I have liked the most from the beginning.  That's ONE of the reasons we'd be best friends....another, I am obsessed with her style, AND she is hilarious.  Like me.  JK, kind of ;)

Okay, first up, Ames.  I'm SO SO SO sad she sent him home!!!  Can I just say he kept getting cuter and cuter.  I think he is the most genuine person.  It's so sad how he said he was made fun of for being a nerd.  Kids and people are so rude :(  But I do agree with him that it has made him the man he is today.  I love that he is smart and educated too... smart is sexy.  I can tell he would plan such extravagant and romantic vacations and dates.  He seems like a genuinely kind person.  Like Wren.  He kind of reminds me of Wren, maybe that's why I like him so much?  It's so cute how he just smiles throughout the entire rose ceremonies.  It broke my heart every ceremony thinking he might not get picked and last night it happened!!!  Ames, can you find my sister please because you'd make very pretty babies with her AND you'd make the best husband.  Ames, sad to see you go :(
Ben has amazing style.  Something about him is so cute.  I like that he never has to be the center of attention.  He has this quiet confidence that I really like.  He's a "gentle giant", as he said of his late father.  I like that.  PLUS, I have always secretly wanted to live next to a vineyard.  So romantic!  It's cool that he started the vineyard on his own.  What a go-getter you are Ben!  Ben and JP have been my favorites since day one.  And yes, I was there the day they stepped out of the limo so I would know ;)
Constantine.  I really like him and I LOVE his family too!  How fun would it be to be a part of that family?  Dancing, the crazy uncle throwing dollar bills!?  That would be awesome!  That's fun that he works at his family's restaurant too.  Out of the four remaining guys, I think Constantine is the guy who I haven't been as sure of, but after the hometown dates, I like him more and more.  He seems like he'd be the funnest dad too! He also says the cutest things...
JP, JP, JP.  Not bad to look at right?  I have really liked JP from the very beginning.  I like that he is a construction manager.  I love a man that can get his hands dirty, and he seems like such a guy's guy.  He seems like he'd be a good protector and always take care of his woman, ha ha.  It's so cute how he is always smiling too.  PLUS, I LOVE his mom.  What a babe you are JP!
Who's your favorite bachelor?
Oh, and my bets are that JP is going to win.

Dresser with a F-F-Face-Lift!

Last week my husband took it upon himself to beautify this dresser for me.

I couldn't be happier with how it turned out!

Here it was before....

It was a nice dresser that belonged to Wren's grandma, it just didn't match any of our stuff.

So Wren spray painted and spray painted, did I say spray painted?  Away....

I ran myself over to not one, but TWO, different Hobby Lobby stores, and somehow managed to find TWENTY FOUR matching knobs.

I am loving Bright Yellow with White right now, I find them to have fantastic chemistry.
I think that they should just get a room already ;)

And how could I go to two different Hobby Lobby stores and not find any other treasures?

I just simply couldn't......

Don't you love this red little vintage looking clock?  All the clocks are 50% off right now so run run your little bottom over there and check them out.

As I said in previous posts, Wren now has ONE WHOLE garment drawer to himself because of this dresser.  See Wren, the allergies for two days straight from the spray paint have indeed paid themselves off!
Isn't he a lover???  Love him dearly.

K well have a fantastic day!

Favorites from Oprah's August 2011 Magazine

Whenever I flip through the pages of my magazines, especially Oprah, I find so many hidden gems I would have never otherwise found.

Here are a couple I would like to share with those of you who do not read Oprah.
Which if you don't, I really think you should :)

K don't you love these Saachi Marquis Bangles?

I know I love me a good bangle!  These are only $31 with code OPRAH right now.  They can be found here.  I really like the black, green, and purple.

Have you heard of Amiclubwear?  I'm kind of confused as to why everything is so dirt cheap, but they do have some really cute shoes.

Take these for example....

So fun :)  And only $9.99?!!!  Ya I don't get it either.
And if you spend $50 or more, shipping is free.  So basically you could get five shoes for $50 and pay no shipping.  Pretty funny, check their website out here.

And last on my list are these organic chap-sticks.  I am a sucker for chap-stick and these flavors look delish!

Only $3 with code OPRAH.  They have even more flavors than shown above too so check them out here if you want.

Well I hope you have a great weekend!

Cupcake Love :)

I made the simplest and most scrumptious cupcakes I do dare say I've ever had the pleasure of putting into my mouth :)
How you ask?

3 Things:

1.  Double fudge chocolate cake mix
2.  Preservative filled crap; store bought cream cheese frosting
3.  Yellow sprinkles

Being cheap never tasted so good.

Try this combo, I dare you.
You'll be just as smitten as I :)

Happy Thursday, we're almost to Friday guys!

Weekend Festivities :)

This weekend has been very eventful to stay the least.

Two black eyes later, lot's of movies and ice cream.... PLUS:

My sweet husband spray painted the dresser that we inherited from his cute Grandma Mudge last year.  It has been on my "to do list" for over a year, but I just couldn't mustered up the energy to paint one more thing.
But when Wren came a offerin', I jumped at the chance!  It looks awesome, but I will wait to post "after" pics as soon as I get new knobs.  It has to look complete right? :)

Let's just say Wren now has a spot for his garments.  Finally after three years of marriage, he is a big boy now with a dresser drawer! :)  Sadly enough, he is allergic to spray paint.  Poor guy was sick all night.  Oh the sacrifices of L.O.V.E.
He is 100% legit.

You know who else is legit?  My daddy.
Especially in the kitchen when he makes these.  Especially with whipped cream on his face :)

These are good old fashioned Danish Ebleskivers.  They are my favorite, so my family came over to our place yesterday and made these as well as brisket.  Delish!  Ebleskivers are part of our heritage you know :)
Wren had about 20.  I'm surprised he made it!

After we gorged, my mom, sisters, and I climbed into our comfy bed and had cutest feet and hands competition judged by none other than my dad.  I won first place for feet, but lost for hands.
Oh well, you win some and lose some.  Very fun Sunday afternoon!

Okay I had to share this bit of good news with you as well.  Today on Sits GirlsKelly Moore is doing a camera bag giveaway.  And OH MY GOSH, I want one SO bad.  If only I had $250 to spend on this one!
Can you believe how cute and convenient?!  Seriously, I LOVE it, and what WILL they come up with next?!  Member your parents saying that?  :)

You can convert it into just a normal purse too.  But look at all the nooks and crannies for the camera and lenses, and all while looking like you're carrying a normal ADORABLE purse.  I don't know, I just might need to splurge.  My black Cannon blah bag just isn't doing the trick.  PLUS, I am LOVING the orange and the two pockets on the outside for a wallet or lip gloss (my mom says if you can find a purse with pockets on the outside you've hit the big time, and you know what, I'd SAY SO!)

Anyway, all you'd need is this one bag and you're set to go shooting!  Love it.  Here's some details about it.
Cool huh?

One more shot just for kicks.....
Oh SO great!  Okay Kelly Moore, I think I should win this giveaway just for being the biggest, most annoying fan ever!  Go here to check out ALL the different styles and colors :)

Last on my exciting weekend of extravaganzas, I bought some cute different material from Fabric.com to cover some pillows on my bed.  Yes, again.  And it took me 5 hours to choose the fabric; as usual.  I love changing my bedding more than anyone you'll ever know.
I love them.

And then a couple different jersey knit materials to make more of these skirts.
Maybe if your birthday is coming up you'll get one.  Rache?....  Don't hold me to it though ;)

Happy Monday.... It's going to be a long one ;)

Milk Glass Wannabes Baby :)

As of late, every time I walked passed our entertainment center from Ikea, I knew I wanted something to change.  I love the black behind the TV, but the decorations on the shelves just kind of blended in to it.
So Sav gotta thinkin.....

Here it is before:

Eh, just kind of blah.

So I took all random vases I could find lying around and decided to spray paint the bad boys white.
Here they are after.
Isn't it a huge improvement?  I'm totally loving how the black background makes the white vases
POP.
And yes, those are old cream soda bottles thank you very much!  I think they'd be adorable with a pink little flower in them.
I also love my two new pale pink vases from Ikea for $1.97.  Can't beat that :)
This project was so easy, all I did was get Krylon white spray paint and sprayed the vases down.  Easy as 1, 2, 3 baby!  Hope you gained some inspiration!

Happy Thursday everyone.
