Fried Brain and Link Up

Somebody's little laptop crashed, deleting everything from their computer, so that person had to download Picasa again, and new features were on that Picasa, so someone's been edit happy. Can you tell?

I was telling my friend today, I have THREE major life-changing events coming up...

1. Having a baby (HUGE)

2. Finding a house (HUGE)

3. Quitting my job (HUGE)

All of these things by themselves would be a lot to wrap my little head around, but combine all three and I think my head might just explode! I lay in bed at night trying to comprehend even just one. Baby... thinking about how much I am going to love this little guy and how excited I'm going to be. Will I be patient enough? Will he sleep good? Will he be able to nurse? Will I be a fun enough mom? Is labor going to kill me? And I get tired... But then why can't I sleep? Because I'm on to try and comprehend the next major life changing event. House... what back splash would look good in this house or that house, or would new carpet be that much? Paint colors? WHICH house is going to work out??? Get tired again. But mind is still racing... Quitting Job... oh all the time I'll have, it seems I've never not worked full time, what will I do with the time? All of the meals I'll have time to plan and cook, oh what a great wife I'll become ;) Then that makes me tired.

I want my brain to just stop thinking. I think I have a problem. Yes?

YES.

Snowy Cabin Trip

This weekend my aunt and uncle were so kind and let Wren, Sara, Devin, and I stay up at their incredible cabin.

We spent lots of time in the snow.

Tons of time watching movies by the fire.

Lots of time eating.

Tons of time whooping the guys in pool.

And more time again in the snow.

I took lots of pictures of Wren and Dev doing this...

...over and over and over again.

They were so proud of the jump they made.

I was too!

We ended the trip with a big big bang by eating breakfast at this little Oakley diner...

Baby's 2nd Head-Shots

On Wednesday we went in for our first ultrasound scheduled by my midwife. If we hadn't gone to fetal photos we would have just barely been finding out this little baby is a boy :)

It was so amazing to see him again now that he's a little bit bigger.

The lady doing our ultrasound said that normally babies at 20 weeks are pretty sluggish and tired.

Not ours.

He was being a madzilla in there! Moving every which way, she could barley get all of the pictures she needed. Makes sense why I feel him all day long (which never gets old). Wren and I will be talking and he'll start thumping away in there. I think he agrees with mommy on whatever she's saying :) Just like daddy should always do! JK... kind of ;)

Let's just say I think we are in for a very active little boy.

Can't wait to squeeze it...

I feel horrible doing this.

Sorry baby boy, but I'm going to expose you for just this once...

It's CERTAIN. He's a BOY!

Bathrooms and Wild Juniper Giveaway Winner!

There are few things in this world that I love more than an awesome bathroom...;)

Maybe it's because I enjoy myself a bath more than anyone else you'll ever meet?

Who wouldn't want to sit in the bathtub and gaze around at a cool room?

Shoot, I don't know :)

Anyway, wherever we end up moving (the house hunt seems to be never ending...) we hope to be able to spruce up the bathrooms a bit.

20 Weeks!

Wren and I just got back from Las Vegas. I always get home sick for the vacation once I'm back at home. There is no one I'd rather spend time with than Wren, so being able to be with him 24/7 on vacation is

THE BEST.

He's at work right now and I miss him :(

Anyway, we had so much fun. More to come on that later though!

Let's just say that we are on an eating healthy only diet. Vegas's food DID us in :)

You want to know the most exciting part of the trip though? When we were sitting at the airport getting ready to board our flight to Vegas, I felt these distinct movements in my tummy. I had thought for sure I had felt baby boy move weeks ago, but I don't think I had. Right when I felt this at the airport I knew 100% it was him. And he didn't stop moving the entire trip! Wren could put his hand on my stomach and feel him, it was pretty amazing for us. Baby boy must have been excited to get outta town already!

This pregnancy is flying by so incredibly fast, I can't even believe it! I'm 20 weeks which is already halfway. Where does the time go? I'm so excited to meet this little guy but it already makes me sad knowing how fast he'll grow up! I also just got back from a doctor's appointment and we heard his strong little heart beat again.

Such a little miracle he is!

I'm already SO in love!
